Our Story

FirstHand Spices began with a simple frustration: spices that smelled of nothing. Too many packets on the shelf had been sitting for months, ground long before anyone thought about the kitchen they would end up in.

So we built the opposite. We select carefully, grind in small batches, and pack in hygienic conditions so that what reaches you still carries the aroma it had at the source. Nothing is added — no colour, no filler, no anti-caking agent. Just the spice.

That is the whole promise, and it is the reason the name is what it is. From our hands to yours.

Packed to Protect the Aroma

Aroma is fragile. Light, air and moisture strip a spice of everything that makes it worth buying, which is why our packaging is not an afterthought.

Every pouch is food-grade and resealable. Every jar is airtight. Both are filled and sealed in hygienic conditions, then checked before dispatch.

What comes next

We are starting with eleven spices because we would rather do eleven properly than fifty carelessly. The range will grow — ground spices and traditional masalas are next — and it will grow at the pace that lets us keep the same standard.
